At Kids on the Rock, we know that highly responsive care early in life is critical to your child's long-term development. In our safe daycare environment, your baby will not only be loved and cared for, but our teachers will stimulate your baby's cognitive, emotional and physical development. Our infant classroom has cribs, swings, bouncers and toys for every baby to feel right at home, safe and secure.
Your child has mastered a lot over the past year and they'll learn even more --walking, talking, jumping -- as this year progresses. Our teachers are trained in helping your child get the most out of life and classrooms are designed specifically for them. Our spacious rooms provide specific areas for them to learn, safely play, and "toddle" around.
Toddlers want to go everywhere and do everything. Our highly trained teachers take great care to create a well-charted toddler territory geared for exploration, excitement and exercise. In a safe, organized environment, toddlers are given a variety of choices for learning experiences that help develop their brain, personality, behavior and health.
3 year olds learn primarily through exploring, using all the senses. While playing, they are better able to ignore distractions and focus on the task at hand. They will even persist in completing something that is a bit difficult and can think more creatively and methodically when solving problems. Our classrooms provide them with these opportunities. Our teachers are trained to help facilitate learning with them.
Voluntary Pre-K gives children a jump start by preparing them for school. VPK children are more likely to be successful in school. VPK classrooms offer high-quality programs that include high literacy standards, developmentally appropriate curriculum, manageable class sizes and qualified teachers.
