A well-designed child care environment inspires inquisitiveness and enhances learning. From small classrooms to a low student-to-teacher ratio, our school provides a warm, intimate, secure environment for children to learn, explore and grow at their own pace. Our classrooms are specifically designed based on age-group.
Cleanliness is imperative to us, so we take significant precautions to prevent the spread of germs. In the infant areas, all teachers and staff wear gloves and do not allow shoes in places where infants play to limit outside germs. All spaces that children come into contact with are regularly disinfected. All the children's toys are cleaned on a daily basis.
At Kids on the Rock, providing a safe and secure childcare environment is our top priority. We have implemented strict safety and security procedures to ensure every child is protected. Our facility features a secure lobby and electronically locked classroom entrances. All parents are assigned a personal key code for access, while visitors are greeted at the door, required to sign in, and receive assistance from our staff. For added security, a photo ID is required from all unfamiliar visitors—even those listed as authorized must present valid ID if they are not recognized.
A variety of nutritious snacks are provided each day that meet the guidelines of the Federal Government Food Program. We serve a morning and afternoon snack and ask that you provide breakfast and lunch for your child. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special food requirements.
When children play hard, they need a comfortable, quiet place to nap! Babies sleep in a quiet room in a cozy crib. Children ages 2-5 will rest on cots, that we provide. Blankets, sheets and pillows from home are always welcome to help the children relax and feel comfortable & secure.
Your child will be involved in developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day. Children will enjoy the playground, unless it is raining, in which they will then get to enjoy playing in our huge "Great Room." It is filled with activity centers, balls, toys, and our large bounce house.
